As Orange is named a Top Employer Global 2020, it’s time to celebrate a company which is truly “human inside”

It’s the awards season, and here at Orange Business, we have just experienced our own “red carpet” moment. Last week, receiving the news that Orange was named as a Top Employer Global 2020 was a special occasion to celebrate with our teams the significant progress we are making towards building a company that is truly “human inside.”

Top Employer Global 2020

The award was presented to the Orange Group on February 13th at a ceremony in Amsterdam and acknowledges the policies and best practices in human resources across 32 countries and territories on the five continents where the Group operates.

Orange receives Top Employer Global 2020 award.

This is the 5th consecutive year in which Orange has received this award. In 2020, once again, Orange Business received 13 country certifications as a Top Employer and contributed to the Group’s continental certifications in Asia Pacific, Europe and Africa.

At Orange Business, we firmly believe that the professional skills and expertise of our employees are at the heart of our evolution towards a network-native digital services company. Our people are key differentiators for our business, and we must continue to attract, hire and retain talented people with the right skills for tomorrow by offering an inspiring employee value proposition.

This award sends a strong message that working for Orange and Orange Business is a unique experience and reveals a very special company culture that allows everyone to develop their curiosity in a challenging, innovative, inspiring, empowering work environment.

Our status as a Top Employer Global 2020 also recognizes the valuable efforts of our local teams to contribute to the environment, promote diversity and benefit society through our Corporate Social Responsibility programs. The fact that sustainable fashion took center stage at this year’s Oscars ceremony is a clear indication that the stakes are raised for CSR in all walks of life. In the B2B world, our customers view environmental performance as a critical business topic, and many multinational companies are increasing the weight of environmental KPIs in their RFP criteria. Similarly, we know that CSR is a key factor in attracting and retaining talent, especially for Millennials.

Last year, we welcomed 4,000 new people to Orange Business, many of them in key technologies such as cloud, SDx, virtualization, software, DAT/IA and cybersecurity, and expanded our workforce to 27,000 worldwide.

As a Top Employer Global 2020, we’re telling our candidates, our employees, our customers and other key stakeholders that we’re a company with ambitions to grow, scale and transform our business to ensure sustainable business growth for our customers. Most importantly, we show that we’re doing this through the strong commitments we have made to grow the trust of our customers, invest in our people and drive sustainability in business.

I would like to send a personal message of thanks to everyone inside Orange who gave their commitment to achieve this important recognition and make Orange an employer of choice across the globe.

We’re hiring! Make 2020 the year you become part of our global success story. Visit orange.jobs for details of current opportunities.
