- Mohammad Turki Al-Otaibi to lead business expansion ambitions
- Orange Business focuses on major infrastructure projects and smart cities opportunities in the Kingdom
Orange Business has appointed Mohammad Turki Al-Otaibi as country manager, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He takes over the management role from Laurent Marini who has moved to another position in the Orange Group.
Mohammad is a Saudi national with more than 20 years’ experience of technology solutions for both enterprise and government sectors. His career spans more than a decade in a variety of leadership roles, including vice president for Sales and Solutions with Ericsson Saudi Arabia, project manager in the oil and gas sector at the Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu and lead software engineer with the Saudi Arabian Air Force.
Mohammad holds an MBA from the University of Hull in the UK and a bachelor’s degree in Information Computer Science from the King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Orange Business is already working with a number of major projects in Saudi Arabia, such as the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), working with the Al Ra’idah Investment company to develop the KAFD, the largest of four smart cities the country is building with an investment of $70 billion. Located north of Riyadah, KAFD will offer a futuristic smart city experience, extending across mass transit, energy supply and more.
Orange Business has operated in the Middle East for over 50 years, and established a local presence in Saudi Arabia in 2012 to support enterprises across all sectors in the Kingdom, with offices in the main cities across three provinces of KSA – Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.
